On one of the few nice summer evenings in 2012, 4M11 Coatbridge – Crewe was booked for a Freightliner 66 instead of the usual pair of ageing 86s. A quick jaunt down the valley was called for and I had an eye on a new location just to the north of my usual haunts. After a fair trek through some fields, I reached the spot just in time to capture 66590 in gorgeous light heading south. 19/06/12 19:35
